however, we ...especially christians should set aside a moment to reflect upon ourselves...this is a very humbling experience.
a lot of bad publicity has gone out for korean churches...
let's not look at this from a 'we are being persecuted' point of view like we usually did, but rather 'there is a possibility that we could be wrong' point of view... after all they did leave for afghanistan despite repeated warnings from the government not to go there. And it cost taxpayer's money, grief of the korean people+the world, and probably some other stuff that the press don't know yet to finally set them free. I think it was worth every penny since it's human lives we're talking about..but i also think that the church should apologize on behalf of the missionaries
apologizing, being humble and listening to what others say does not mean than christianity has/is a faux pas..not at all!
it's exactly the absence of these factors that got us christians into trouble in the first place.
after all it is (in my humble opinion) what Jesus would have done....
